SORBONNE UNIVERSITÉ – PARIS MEETING II

The second MEHMED project meeting was held at the headquarters of one of the largest European universities actually being a partner of MEHMED: Sorbonne Université. In particular, the meeting took place in Paris on February 5 and 6, 2020. Apart from a review of the general status of the project by the coordinator and reviews relating to the status of all WPs in the project, the highlight was the presentation of the structure and content of the master’s that the different Maghreb partners had prepared for the accreditation process in the different competent ministries in each country. In the course of the meeting, it was pointed out that the project progress continues at a good pace and according to the timetable especially in relation to the submission of the master’s proposals which were highly appreciated by the partners in the project consortium. The dense agenda of the working meeting was complemented by a brief visit to some of the city’s landmarks with the guidance of our colleague Marianne Cohen, who acted as the host for the sessions. The next SC meeting is scheduled for next fall in the city of Constantine (Algeria) hosted by the University of Constantine 3.
